Amphitheater of Capua, the story is staged under the stars

A magical place, full of history and charm, second in size only to the Colosseum, the ancient amphitheater of Capua is a priceless cultural structure of the Terra Felix (and not only). And right here, within its walls full of centuries, from where he led the gladiator Spartacus in 73 BC the revolt that was held in check for two years in Rome, there will be an unmissable exhibition of evening events planned for the second year in a row by the City of Santa Maria Capua Vetere for summer 2014.
“Invasion under heaven of Spartacus” is the title of the event that invites the public to take advantage of this opportunity to discover a precious specimen of history that you can visit for free with paths narrated and dramatized tours.
But we see in detail the program that provides, at the end of each performance, the opportunity for visitors to enjoy the experience of the path of light in the basement.

The tours will take place every Friday and Saturday in July and August. With the exception reserved only Thursday July 17. After the debut was staged last Saturday with an evening dedicated to dance, it continues next Saturday (July 12) with the theatrical performances of Peppe Barile, in “Death in the arena. The gladiators between history and legend”.
Then the cabaret space in the program, in fact, on Thursday 17th July, when the public can attend the show Gigi Vigliani “Imitation,” a musical tale of Italy yesterday and today in collaboration with bank Mediolanum.
Still, the sounds of jazz permeate the arena of Capua Saturday 19 July, with Pietro Condorelli in “jazz ideas & songs”, a concert with Simona Boo, Domenico Santaniello, Claudio Borrelli.
And for lovers of astronomy, great surprises in store for the day Friday, August 1st, where everyone will be invited to stay … “With the nose under the sky Spartacus” to trace the history of magic and enchantment of the moon, thanks to the observations of astronomy free guided by Giuseppe Munno.
Finally, for the last three dates, those 2 Saturday, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 August, spectators and fans can watch the “theatrical reading the two Capue” Recommend to Aprovidolo, freely adapted from “walking bells” with musical performances of the violinist Fabiana Sirigu , enjoying “light paths” in the basement of the amphitheater with a narrated walking in collaboration with “caserterrae aps” and the piano recital by Flavia Salemme.
