It will be the Centro Cultural Ars Domus, Via Santa Chiara10, embedded ad hoc in the heart of the historic center of Naples, to accommodate from 1 to 5 April the sixteenth edition of the “International Festival of the ‘700 Musicale Napoletano” initiative created by the Master Enzo Amato, which aims to revive the music notes and unpublished musical Neapolitan School of the eighteenth century, then taken as a benchmark by many musicians throughout Europe. It starts Wednesday 1, at 20.30, with “The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross” performed by Ensemble Discantus and Vocalia choir, while on Thursday 2, will be the turn of “Ad sepulcrum” with music by Antonio Vivaldi, Gaetano Veneziano, Leonardo Leo and Gennaro Manna, proposals with period instruments by Ensemble Le Musiche da Camera, and the first modern performance of Lectio Fifth Holy Thursday, on the occasion of the 300th Anniversary. Friday, “Stabat Mater” with the choir Jubilate Deo and the Soloists of the Chamber Orchestra of Naples. A treat, the first modern performance of “Miserere Mei Deus” by Pasquale Anfossi. Saturday, April 4, however, will be the turn of “The concert in Naples” with the Ensemble Discantus and Sunday 5, the grand finale at 18, with “La Serva Padrona” by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi with the Soloists Chamber Orchestra Naples.
