From Sunday, June 14, at 10:30 am, three Sundays dedicated to young music bands and orchestras of Naples, also in occasion of the upcoming European Music Festival. The Certosa di San Martino will perform boys Scalzabanda, of Sanitansemble and Free All Music.

The three youth orchestras Neapolitan, were created with intent and social integration in the neighborhoods most at risk in the city. Are therefore cultural landmark as were also those born from the famous children’s orchestras South America, of which the best known is the Venezuelan “Simon Bolivar”, daughter of the teaching model music by Jose Antonio Abreu. A musical and social project developed 32 years ago in Venezuela, appreciated by the greatest musicians, starting with the maestro Claudio Abbado who supported a plan for a network of free schools in Italy on that model.

Concertosa thus the title of the event made in Naples, and will take place on the lookout terrace of the monks, to fabulous views of the Gulf of Naples as a backdrop; Every Sunday will perform a different orchestra that will be welcomed and accompanied to the discovery of the Museum, to enrich the artistic experience of young musicians, and their families, with a special route in the building designed specifically for them.
