San Tammaro, which is dedicated to the structure, is a saint of the thirteenth century whose cult is strongly felt in this area of ​​the province of Naples and the cathedral is considered an important reference for the whole territory.

The Mibact financed the restoration of the fresco of Cirillo Santolo representing Moses who makes water flow from the rock, the Curia intervened financially for the restoration of the stucco and the colors of the nave while the works of art, including the beautiful Angels painting of the Madonna of an altarpiece by the renaissance painter Marco Cardisco, have been restored by the parish.
