It seems like yesterday, yet it has been almost three years after the untimely death of the great Lucio Dalla and Sorrento is preparing to pay tribute to him with a series of events worthy of an honorary citizen. The first “taste”, February 28, from 16.30 pm, in the Town Hall, where it will be presented the book of Raffaele Lauro, “The Song Caruso – Lucio Dalla and Sorrento”, on the poetics of the singer and the linkage of almost fifty years Bolognese artist with the Land of the Sirens. Will discuss, with the introduction of the mayor, Giuseppe Cuomo, journalists, writers, ex – mayors and friends sorrentini of Lucio. Afterwards, in the same location, a concert of “Salvatore Converso Orchestra” and the inauguration of the photo exhibition “Lucio Dalla and Sorrento” curated by Antonino Fattorusso. For the occasion, the perfumers Sorrento Limoni launch “Assaje”, a new perfume that sees protagonists fragrant lemons in the area, who Dalla much loved.
In the following weeks, will instead form another major event, which will involve a number of students of the Sorrento Peninsula entitled “Dalla and the Youngs “, during which, in addition to reading from the book of Raffaele Lauro and performing songs unforgettable, will recite poems, dedicated to Lucio, written by leading poets made in Sorrento.
