Ten days and a few hours. So much is missing at the ribbon cutting of the 13th edition of \u201cPotato Festival\u201d of Agerola, in the province of Naples, which dominates by the Lattari the Amalfi Coast.<\/p>\n
To host the festival, which will take shape Friday, August 14, starting at 20, the Borgata Santa Maria, where you can taste a slew of themed dishes: La Manna from starter to tubettoni with potatoes and smoked cheese flakes passing dumplings for the dairyman, cup pork with baked potatoes and sweet \u201cgraffe\u201d. All washed down with wine from the village. With the ability of the participants to take home also tasty gastronomy awards or souvenirs provided by commercial operators in the area.<\/p>\n

Saturday, August 15, however, the festivities will begin at 9 am with a performance by the whole band \u201cCity of Agerola\u201d, to continue to 10 with Mass. At 19.30, the wooden statue of Our Lady of the Assumption, housed in the medieval church of Santa Maria La Manna, will be carried in procession, followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration and a colorful fireworks show.<\/p>\n
