{"id":22441,"date":"2015-09-02T18:55:52","date_gmt":"2015-09-02T16:55:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.charmenapoli.it\/?p=22441"},"modified":"2015-09-02T18:55:52","modified_gmt":"2015-09-02T16:55:52","slug":"capri-diventa-lisola-dellarte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.charmenapoli.it\/en\/arte\/capri-diventa-lisola-dellarte\/","title":{"rendered":"Capri becomes the &#8220;Island of Art&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 4, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.charmenapoli.it\/en\/itinerari\/capri-terrazze-di-roccia-con-vist-mozzafiato\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>island of Capri<\/strong><\/a> is preparing to host the first edition of the <em><strong>Capri The Island of Art<\/strong><\/em>: an open-air festival &#8211; the brainchild of <strong>Franco Senesi<\/strong> &#8211; involving more than 20 artists of national and international contemporary, invited to dialogue with the places and stories of the island. Performance, audio and video installations, large sculptures, projected at night exhibitions in public and private places make up a busy program which lasts for four months and touches the <a title=\"La Sirena rifiutata ammali\u00f2 Napoli\" href=\"http:\/\/www.charmenapoli.it\/en\/storia\/leggende-storia-la-sirena-partenope-rifiutata-ammalio-napoli\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>city of Naples<\/strong><\/a>, in an ideal bridge between sea, land and subsoil with the involvement of <a title=\"A Napoli anche il Metr\u00f2 dell\u2019arte \u00e8 tutto da visitare\" href=\"http:\/\/www.charmenapoli.it\/en\/arte\/visite-guidate-stazioni-metro-arte-programma\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Art Stations Underground<\/strong><\/a> and main sites of contemporary museums. Twenty-one site-specific projects, coordinated by the two curators <strong>Marco Izzolino <\/strong>and<strong> Lucia Zappacosta<\/strong> &#8211; in addition to two independent projects &#8211; make up the program of the event caprese, with 5 main installations of <strong>Lawrence Weiner<\/strong>, <strong>Santiago Sierra<\/strong>, <strong>Andrea Aquilanti<\/strong>, <strong>Mario Air\u00f2<\/strong> and <strong>Bianco Valente<\/strong>. Among the examples, the rocky outcrop of <strong>Mount Cappello<\/strong> at\u00a0<strong>Anacapri<\/strong> (side of <strong>Monte<\/strong> <strong>Solaro<\/strong>) will become a natural canvas on which to life the laser projection devised by Air\u00f2, artist specializing in the transformation of places through the use of lights and beams: for 15 nights, the work of <strong>Mario Air\u00f2<\/strong> will be visible from the <strong>Piazzetta<\/strong>, around the side of <strong>Marina Grande<\/strong> and also from the sea. Project in the project is the exhibition &#8220;<strong><em>Canone Inverso<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; in an area of \u200b\u200bthe fourteenth-century <strong>Certosa of\u00a0San Giacomo<\/strong>, the Canonica, which reopens to the public after a partial recovery.
