South Africa calls and Campania “gold” answers… It will be the goldsmith center \u00a0“The Tar\u00ec” of Marcianise, near Caserta, to host “JWP – Jewellery and watchmaker project”, a pilot program of international courses theoretical, but especially practical, dedicated to the high vocational training in the art of jewelery, precious stone, design jewelry and watches. Starring, 25 young average age of 26, selected in the main Jewellery Schools and Engineering University of South Africa.<\/p>\n
After the training, students will be able to draw, design and build collections, characterized by distinctive and unique, but also to repair and assemble any type of clockwork mechanism, ancient or contemporary.<\/p>\n
The project’s goal is to convey to young students the know-how and skills typical of the goldsmith’s craft, to acquire its own way of working and become, at the end of the path, ambassadors in South Africa of the values \u200b\u200band traditions of “Made in Italy”.<\/p>\n
The lectures will address, in fact, the study of the most popular and sophisticated goldsmith techniques, all the secrets of Haute Horlogerie and complexity of design in the jewelry sector, in a program of study lasting two years, during which young people s ‘plunge full time in classroom activities in Italy, the world capital of design and, in particular, in Campania, where the gold district boasts two thousand years of history.<\/p>\n
The activity is organized, planned and carried out by the internal staff of TADS, Tari Design School, School of Education’s Center Goldsmith of Marcianise, with the help of external professionals such as craftsmen, masters, jewelery designers and watchmakers of international importance. Also provided evidence of the leading interpreters of contemporary gold and culture of Italian design. In addition, to encourage interaction between different cultures, the Tar\u00ec made operational, in Caserta, a campus student residences that will host the South African delegation for the duration of the training.<\/p>\n
