Teora, in the province of Avellino, is ready to welcome all the usual festival dedicated to the carnival. The appointment not to be missed in the small village of Irpinia is January 30 starting at 17. The traditional carnival characters the Squacqualacchiun, they will tour the country with their old sticks causing anyway, with noise and provocations, passers-by and disappearing immediately after the alleys of the village.<\/p>\n
The term squacqualacchiun seems to be a simple name to mock anyone, indicated as scruffy. It seems however represent particular states of being positive in life like the good life, when drunk, or were of joy, fulfillment and freedom.<\/p>\n
And ‘this but also an excellent opportunity to enjoy traditional tomacelle and polenta with wild boar! The day’s program also includes performances by local groups and by zeke tam, as well as a show of street artists. So in the street flag throwers, fire eaters, jugglers and hawkers. The festival will close as ever with the fantastic flight of squacqualacchione fiery!<\/p>\n
