The exhibition, unpublished material composed of 180 photographs and 4.3 hours of video made by photographer Alessandro d’Urso. The exhibition, organized with the support of his wife and children Fabiola Sciabbarrasi artist, was strongly supported by the mayor of Naples Luigi de Magistris. “Naples – said de Magistris – could not accommodate this exhibition. It was not easy to organize because the programming of Pan was already at an advanced stage, but Pino is Naples”. “In the rooms – as explained by D’Urso – photographs that tell the public who loved the ‘Nero a metà‘ not only the artist, but above all the man, the father, the husband, the friend Pino”. Visitors will be able to “live” the private history and art of Pino Daniele 1990 to 2009, the most intense period of the professional musician who, at this period of time, has worked with international artists such as Pat Metheny, Al di Meola, Peter Erskine, Rachel Z, Jimmy Earl and with many artists including Italian Fiorella Mannoia, Francesco De Gregori, Ron, 99 Posse. The exhibition is the result of twenty years of friendship between Daniel and D’Urso who realized for the artist Neapolitan eight album covers and other material. An exhibition – has been emphasized – does not want to be “a sad memory, but a memory alive and the ones of man’s extraordinary”. “Dad – said his daughter Sara – has always transmitted his love of Naples and in recent months we all have felt the love and the pain of Naples and Neapolitans”. During the exhibition, several events will be organized with the participation of, among others, Alessandro Siani, Raiz and other artists who were close to Pino Daniele.

Naples meets the “modern style” of Cuba Thursday, March 6 at 18:00 will be inaugurated at the Pan – Arts Palace of Naples the staff of Ana Gloria Salvia titled “Archi_Cuba, modern Havana. Architecture in Pictures“, edited by Maria Savarese, sponsored by the Culture and Tourism of the City of Naples and sponsored by the Universal Forum of Cultures, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II, dall’ANIAI (Association national Engineers Architects) and produced by DAFNA Home Gallery.

The one on display is a photographic investigation proposed by photographer Franco- Cuban Ana Gloria Cuban Salvia focused on the architecture of the twentieth century. The series of images, far from having an intention of cataloging the architectural styles of Cuban modern, comes from the observation of a reinforced concrete building well known that struck the imagination of the artist. The building is immortalized Focsa. In 2011, studying the history of the structure, the photographer discovered that he had been one of the palaces in the world’s tallest reinforced concrete built until then. Ana began from that time to be concerned with aspects of Cuban less known and less studied.

Through the photographs of the body of work carried out, Gloria Salvia tries to share the ecstasy that the exploration of the pure geometry of architectural forms cause in his imagination, as well as choosing a favorite subject of photographic surveys, some buildings of this architectural period. Buildings that insist on the value of the Cuban colonial architectural style often leaves in the shade.

At the press preview, will be present, together with the artist Ana Gloria Salvia and the curator Maria Savarese, Councillor for Culture and Tourism of the City of Naples Nino Daniele and will be presented to the press catalog published by Editions Paparo, with texts by Maria Savarese, architect and photographer Ferrante Ferranti, the architect Ricardo Porro, Professor Alessandro Castagnaro and architect Florian Castiglione.
