Stylists from Campania imagine spring 2015 as suspended between History and Myth. Nino Lettieri has been inspired by the geometrical figures of ancient Pompei mosaics: his collection recalls the ‘50s and ‘60s, with kimono-style jackets in mikado, geometrical prints, garçon trousers, hot pants, knee-length cocktail dresses. For the night, long dresses decorated with interlaced laser works or sequins and veiled organza.

Roccobarocco collection is a perfect mix of aulic and pop, inspired by Neoclassic art and Napoleon’s sister, Paolina Bonaparte, whose profile in gold&silver is printed on shirts and dresses, while tribal prints give life to peplum dresses, together with a 3d golden lion head on necklaces and bracelets.

Gianni Molaro, in his fantastic Olympus, imagines a goddess-like woman, wrapped in soft chiffon, mikado, cady and satin siren-like dresses with veiled backs, giving a divine and contemporary twist. Lace creates elegant flower tattoo-effect motifs on tulle.[charme-gallery]

Even Mario Valentino has revisited the historical model “Venus” from 1954 using precious stones. Iconic heels with plateau have been realized with mini red coral boules thanks to the collaboration with Mattia Mazza jewels of Torre del Greco. Very particular are also the flashy sandals made by the Neapolitan stylist Alessandro Dell’Acqua for N°21, “natural” or with crystals and multicolour corals.

The Jardin des Tuileries wanted by Caterina de’ Medici in 1564 has inspired the colourful of Bianca Brandi, with natural shapes and colours, and three-dimensional embroideries enriching asymmetrical neckline.

Flowers also for Bruno Caruso, who chooses satin, tulle, and lace for his clothes full of pearls and rhinestones, in black with a touch of silver, blue, and red.

Bi-colour flowers for Amina Rubinacci, with micro, twill, and motifs on fresh fabrics: cashmere is pure or mixed with silk, light linen and viscose, enriched by silver yarns and sequins.

The flower power can be found also in the new Cannella collection, with romantic dresses with volant and plissé, balloon skirts, denim and pois on ‘60s bon–ton dresses.

In via Toledo 329, AlbaChiara‘s spring has the smell of creativity, innovation, and passion. The designer Susi Sposito creates dresses for every occasion which exalt women.

For what concerns men, Kiton chooses the jacket as the queen of the wardrobe, with a brand new structure totally fitted for the needs of cosmopolitan gentlemen. Cipa model is enriched by a wide proposal of blazer, shirts with flower prints, and striped Bermuda shorts.[charme-gallery]

Mariano Rubinacci and his son Luca propose a light cashmere jacket, linen ample trousers, and a pret à porter collection. An outstanding care for detail is the characterstic of Sartoria Sabino, which creates traditional suits enlivened by contemporary ideas.

Modernity and tradition are the milestone of Sartoria Partenopea, with refined and flawless suits, in blue, grey, orange, and lilac.

Elegance and handicraft are the key words of Sartoria Antonelli that chooses Shetland wool and tweed for tailor made jackets and suits.

Lightness for the hand-made exclusive shoes of Paolo Scafora, with the new Goodyear Extrema manufacturing and inspired by the marine landscape of the Gulf of Naples.

Italian seas as seen by a seagull have inspired the new Spring collection Harmont&Blaine. Water reflexes, flaming coral red, seaweed green, deep blue on a total white base.

The king of hand-made ties, Maurizio Marinella, proposes silk ties in a wide range of trendy and classic nuances, with mini pois or microprints.

The exclusive creations of stylists and brands of “made in Naples” for the summer season of 2013 appear as in Shakespeare’s ‘In emerald tufts, flowers purple, blue and white; like sapphire, pearl and rich embroidery’.[charme-gallery]

Flowers, full of positive energy are to be seen everywhere. Roccobarocco sets them in damask style on elegant jackets, on white and gold leggings and on tops, and more realistically on palazzo trousers. Mario Valentino has them hand-painted on bolero cut calfskin jackets and limited edition shoes. Sarli has cocktail dresses with leaf effect sleeves and tissue evoking old terracotta pine cones, like Caltagirone ceramics, matched to caps, skirts and tight tops.[charme-gallery]

Nino Lettieri takes inspiration from the leaves of the Amazonian “monstera”, printed or embroidered on evening dresses in chiffon, organdy and satin. Gianni Molaro proposes long segmented siren gowns and, in his art couture collection, flowers on black lace contrasting over original red and yellow tubes.[charme-gallery]

Alessio Visone’s leit motif is a rain of rose petals, on revealing tops, on skirts, sleeves and straps of refined evening wear. Large sartorial silk flowers are on almost every chemise, the star of the line, matched to shorts, skirts, pareos and trousers. Fabrizio Crispino has strong, decisively coloured flowers on extremely feminine dresses inspired by cinema divas of the ‘50s and ‘60s, enriched by hand-made embroidery.[charme-gallery]

The Fabiana Ferri brand proposes short dresses with oblique volants, which evoke lillies, and vitiminic long dresses. Bianca Brandi has more nuanced pieces with irregular stripes slowly eliding into water-colour flowers. Giorgia & Johns has printed flowers on short dresses and blouses in white and blue, but also in black on belts to pair with light pale dresses in cotton, georgette or crepe. Vittoria Romano’s summer collection uses flora and fauna in multicoloured bouquets and animal patterns. The clothes have clear lines to best show off the silhouette of the avant-garde women.[charme-gallery]

There are no flowers for men, but a lot of colour. Kiton’s Cipa collection, a modern revisitation of Ciro Paone’s ‘60s creations, propose figure hugging surfing and beach patterns, and marvellous nuances can be seen in the ties and the other lines of the brand. The Luigi Boriello collection is inspired by the manager and golf enthusiast: bright colours for leisure time and light shades, or navy, for formal wear.[charme-gallery]

With Harmont & Blaine the classical colours fade to new tints, weathered by salt air, and in the collection polo sweaters and t-shirts call to mind nautical flags, and silk shirts the sun playing on the sea.

Orazio Luciano of La Vera Sartoria Napoletana features saharan trousers in cotton and cashmere and jeans effect jackets. Paolo Scafora’s hand-made shoes proposes nuanced colour combinations for wearing all day long.[charme-gallery]

For the summer of 2013, the fashion griffes are reproposing the timeless styles of Positano and Capri.

The details of “Positano fashion power” can be seen passing through the town’s narrow streets where, “… only the sea is horizontal, and everything that is terra firma is almost perpendicular”. The boutiques are full of chic numbers in linen, chintz, gauze and cotton, variously enriched with lace of with stones, pearl drops and coral.[charme-gallery]

The yellows, oranges, greens reflect the nuances of the citrus groves of the Amalfi Coast, the turquoise of the sea or the magenta of bouganville. A short walk and you are engrossed in the unique fashion, perhaps made at the moment. A fashion institution in Positano is Maria “Lampo”, adored by the Japanese and with Dustin Hoffmann, Colin Farrell and Renzo Arbore. among its clients. A story tells of clients asking her when they should return for their order and her replying “Go and have a swimfor a couple of hours. They’ll be ready when you get back”. From the 1960s, for men. women and children alike, it has been a place to go to find original pieces.[charme-gallery]

Another historical boutique is Mena Cinque’s, one of the first to use the technique of dyeing the garments to the client’s taste after it is completed. Then there are Marilù with elegant and romantic creations; Queen Moda with linen, cotton and silk dresses enriched by macramé and lace; and Blitz Moda with sophisticated youth fashion, while Cabiria Fashion distributes Positano style in Italy and abroad.

For shopping it’s a brief trip from Positano to Capri, with its griffes but also with artisan expertise. One place it is almost impossible to pass without stopping is the historical boutique of Amedeo Canfora whose hand-made sandals have been worn by Soraya, Maria Callas, Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy. Today. the boutique is run by his grandson Amedeo, but the inimitable style has remained the same: flat leather soles and leather heels with decorated straps. In another road is the boutique of Costanzo Ruocco, who left us a few years ago, a place frequented by Clark Gable, Sophia Loren, Liz Taylor and Brigitte Bardot, who wanted a special look. There’s also Giuseppe Faella’s the oldest sandal boutique on the island, run by his son Vincenzo.[charme-gallery]

If sandals are not your thing then maybe you should go to the Piazzetta and to La Parisienne. Here, you can buy the special “pants” which are named after the island, from the line Adrian’s Capri. Simple but refined trousers “alla pescatore” still made in the same canvas as those worn by the 60s fashion icon Audrey Hepburn.[charme-gallery]

They are these the first adjectives that they usually come to mind if it is thought about the cinnamon one of the most ancient and beloved spices to the world. The same that “they pervade” the explosive Spring-Summer collection 2013 debugging from the homonym neapolitan brand lives.

For the beautiful season, Cannella aims at a well serious mixture of fabrics, styles and tendencies, superfemminili and ultra chic, to the insignia of geometric and floral imaginations, blouses kimono, pois, presses animalier and lines, you decline in flax, silk and cotton, but also in cady, crêpe and georgette.

Et voilà a refined line and practice, suspended among tradition, innovation and eclecticism, that he/she sees protagonists tones crayon alternated color strong of great impact as the red, the pink gerbera, the blue cobalt, the green water and composé in coral and melon. Without never forgetting the everlasting white and black proposed in different combinations, as in the delicious chessboard version with micro squares.[charme-gallery]

And then flowers, flowers, fortissimamente flowers, that dye of chromatic optimism it put her with buds of roses, sunflowers and poppies that lean out on top and abitini giving form to unusual combinings and to amazing optic illusions. The all combined to new effect presses fallen through and to wave, ready to also give grim and energy to the most classical outfits.

Romantic, elegant and sophisticated, therefore, the Cannella woman loves heads realized with appreciated fabrics and mastery sartoriale, for a modern mole-luxury, that interpreted by this collection by the splendid ex miss Sicilian Italy, class 1985, Francesca Chillemi, mole testimonial of the brand, which the witness of other two beauties passes made in Italy as Serene Autieri and Caterina Balivo.
