Music and…ambition. Here is the “binomio” that featured the concert-event set up last night on the stage of the San Francesco Auditorium at Scafati (Sa). The choir has enshrined the debut of the Ensembles Artemus, the youth orchestra founded by Francesco D’Aprea, president of the Artemus Music Association, and master Alfonso Todisco, artistic director of the Ensemble, for a “first” exciting facing an attentive and passionate audience.
A JOURNEY THROUGH MUSIC
The spectators, who filled the theater room, were accompanied by an extraordinary musical journey through the soundtracks of Nicola Piovani, Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, passing through classical masterpieces revisited in modern style until they arrived to a cascade of timeless pieces of international pop. A program that involved the public for its wealth and dynamism and which left the room enthusiastic.
THE PROJECT EXPLAINED BY MASTERS
D’Aprea and Todisco have explained the purpose of the project, which aims at “enhancing young musicians in the territory,” and the “diffusion of quality music regardless of gender, focusing on the versatility of the Ensemble”.
THE EVENT OF AUDITORIUM, ONLY ONE FIRST STEP
The orchestral organ, composed by more than valent and young musicians, was superbly directed by the young director Alfonso Todisco, who proved to be up to the project by sending musicians on stage all his energy. The auditorium event, delightfully presented by Angela Rosa d’Auria, which has entertained the audience with its verve, is just the first step of a series of Artemus projects aimed at promoting music in the area by offering musical events and training.
IN CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL ANOTHER CONCERT
The association, in fact, promotes music and song classes, an exclusive service in the field of high artistic music education. The ensemble project is ambitious, as the young organizers themselves have emphasized. The desire to create something important seems to be greater than the difficulties. It is no coincidence that a Christmas concert is already announced. It will be held on 21 December in the theater of St. Peter, always at Scafati. Meanwhile, he is already working on the planning of the spring season’s concert season.
