Forty works, painted during the last 15 years of life of the entrepreneur / artist Naples, will be the stars of the show “The souls of colored Pasquale Di Maria”, hosted by Saturday, February 28 (vernissage at 17) to Sunday, March 8 in the Hall of the Prisons of Castel dell’Ovo, set in the inspiring Neapolitan gouged in the heart of the tuff of the islet of Megaride. Retrospective exhibition of the artist who died prematurely in March last year, organized by the Naples NordOverst, pointing the attention in particular on the years when Di Maria has conducted careful research into materials and forms of painting, producing works (about 140, mainly crude oil on canvas) which are characterized from the beginning to the intensity of the role of color that becomes, as it was written, “primary matter and the form of the expression of feeling”.

The artist’s work is also illustrated in the publication that will accompany the exhibition, both made with the care and participation of both the family of the painter, both of the friends with whom he shared artistic initiatives.
