Caravaggio… animated at the Diocesan Museum of Naples

Weekend of art in Naples with the extraordinary performance of “Tableaux Vivants“: seven actors enact the great masterpieces of Caravaggio, with the help of poses well-researched and accurate and powerful play of light. The event is scheduled for the day Saturday, April 12th (18.30) and for the following Sunday (from 10.30 to 13.30) in the extraordinary setting of the Diocesan Museum Donnaregina theater of the most striking representations. Under the eyes of the spectators, in fact, as if by magic, it will make up 21 canvases painted by Michelangelo Merisi made ​​directly with the actors’ bodies and with the help of everyday objects and draped fabrics. The performance by the great emotional impact, will be accompanied by the rhythmic notes of Sibelius, Bach, Mozart and Vivaldi. An event that will be repeated Sunday, May 11 and June 22.
