“Partorire con l’Arte ovvero l’Arte di Partorire”

It will be the Hall of Columns of the Madre Museum of Naples, to host this afternoon, Monday, June 15, starting at 18, the fifth meeting of “Giving birth with Art or the Art of Giving birth”, an innovative course, interdisciplinary and free prelude to childbirth, aimed at expectant mothers, their partners and anyone who wants to explore the theme of the beauty of birth.

Focus today will be about “Becoming a mother. The baby and the new life”. For the occasion, doctors and scientists will take turns in figures of the contemporary art world, to explore the various aspects of “taking care” of a newborn as well as an artistic and cultural project. Speakers: the neonatologist Clinic Ruesch of Naples, Giuseppe De Bernardo; the gallery owner Raffaella Bozzini; Pasquale Mastrangelo, executive UOC Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Boscotrecase; and Annamaria Colao, endocrinologist at the University of Naples Federico II. Will moderate, Miriam Mirolla, creator of the project, a psychology professor at the Fine Arts in Rome.

Last meeting, Monday, June 22, with “Culture is good for health. The mother and the artist: the genesis of a work of art”.

At the conclusion of the series of meetings, the museum of via Settembrini announce membership in “Born with the culture”, already used in other places of art, including the Senate and the Castello of Rivoli. A project aimed at future unborn children and their families, providing for the issue, at birth, a “cultural passport” that allows infants and their families free admission to the museum.
