Lucio Dalla

It will be the room Carlo Di Leva of Foreigners’ Club of Sorrento, to host Saturday, October 24, starting at 20.30, “You spoke a wonderful language – musical suite of-a-it-in-and-out-to-in-one Lucio Dalla” pastiche dramatic signed by Carmine Borrino, which will see at the piano Mariano Bellopede and in voice Francesca Colapietro, ready to recall the masterpieces of the singer from Bologna.

A recital/concert, with free admission, built entirely on the songs from the artists thanks to the synergy of three widely inspired by his music. Bellopede as a musician, Colapietro as a singer and Borrino as playwright, in fact, grew up and were formed keeping in mind the poetry and music of the unforgettable artist from Bologna. And, with the knowledge to know the basics and the language from which generated emotions in music and words, they have packed their special “gift to Lucio”.

In “You spoke a wonderful language”, it is from that speaks to his audience and does so through the characters of his songs, love, lived, unaware poets suburban crossing his music.

Women and men simple and fascinating, that almost feel like to really know, so much and this is the vitality of expression through them and through us when we hear them sing verses seeing protagonists. More than a recital, a suite where one song ends inside the other, the verse of one meets the refrain of another and vice versa. Everything simply wrapped so as to create a little story. A story of love, because love is the center of all production of Dalla and because his poetic, so simple and every day, teaches us Love.

The music never predictable, never boring even if built on simple elements, it follows the poem, because only then can “talk and sing a wonderful language”.

The event is presented by the cultural association Palma Cappuro and the Centro studi sul Teatro napoletano, meridionale ed europeo.
