At St. Clare is time to… “Christmas at the Cloister”

Get in on “Christmas at the Cloister”, a series now in its third edition, until January 10, will see the impressive monument of St. Clare, in the heart of old Naples, a series of ad hoc events, suitable for young and old, who enjoy the artistic direction of Silvano Forte.

The project, strongly backed by the Community of the monks of the Monastery, provides, inter alia, the fascinating exhibition titled “The Gift. The way of beauty “Pasqualina Caiazzo (which will meet the public on December 19), by Susanna Crispino. On display 14 paintings, a video and an environmental installation related to the theme of motherhood with paintings, tables, paper, photo clippings and branches of a tree that tell the indissoluble bond that unites mother and son.

From December 30 the Cloister it comes alive, however, with “Not only Gospel”: live performance starring its addictive chorus directed by Simona Guida (times: 11-13, 15-17), while the 3, 5 and January 6, 2016, from 18 to 22, the beautiful cloister will host “In-A Christmas Carol”, bustling live nativity scene, set up by the Parish of St. Clare, ready to give incredible emotions at all. Daily admission to visit the cloister and attend the events scheduled is 6 euro; 4.50 euro reduced; 3.50 euro for school groups.
