Crossing the Mediterranean, 300 people take to the streets to photograph simultaneously 12 topics in 12 hours, capturing a day in the life of the three cities. Objective of the initiative is to document the reality, people, the community, to produce an archive that will be resource to meet and exchange ideas through creativity of photography. We thought patterns, similarities and differences will emerge from the shots of the participants, creating and promoting dialogue, understanding, and integration.
The Photo Marathon is free and open to all, boys and girls over 18. Professionals, amateurs and interested parties may participate with a digital camera or a smartphone: no matter the quality of the shot but what it communicates. The photographs collected during the day will be printed and displayed in a traveling exhibition that will cross the three cities, Bierut, Naples and Tunis next spring.
