The service of the Segway – Ninebot Tour, is mainly geared to tourists, but also to the citizens of Naples who want to see the sights of the city from a different perspective, and provides itineraries to the city with the newest Ninebot (latest generation of Personal Transporter) through the streets and most typical places of Naples. The Ninebot is the two-wheeled personal transporter electronically powered that allows the rider-passenger to stay upright and balanced.
The Ninebot Elite, lighter and easier to handle than traditional Segway, can be used in a simple and intuitive; Furthermore, at the beginning of each tour we are scheduled 15 minutes of training, during which personnel involved alongside customers in becoming familiar with the Personal Transporter. The Ninebot Elite can circulate freely in pedestrian areas, on the sidewalk and bike paths. It can be used by anyone age 16 or older. It ‘a new intelligent and sustainable transport system.
From the waterfront to the Basilica of Santa Chiara, through Chiaia, Piazza Trieste e Trento, via Toledo, Maschio Angioino, Piazza del Plebiscito and Borgo Marinari, tourists and citizens can then take in the cultural sights, Naples and artistic landscape, turning board Ninebot of Elite, a very practical way, safe and environmentally friendly mobility to conceive. An audio guide will describe the route, the history, the monuments of the city.
NTN, which launched the initiative, plans to organize two tours a day each lasting about three hours (starting at 10 and 15 hours from Via Partenope 42, opposite Castel dell’Ovo). Each tour includes a maximum of 10 participants with a “tour guide” enabled and writing the special register of the Campania Region. In the coming months also will start the evening tour.
