Until March 12, the Pan of Via dei Mille in Naples will host the exhibition-event “Les Miserables”, dedicated to the theme of femicide. The format, devised by Désirée Klain, the spotlight is no longer on the body of the victims of violence, but on the human misery of the executioners through authentic newspaper photos and art installations. New in this edition, involving 12 men as the face: from Patrick Rispo to Gino Rivieccio through Enzo Gragnaniello. Complaint and reflection are the basis of the installations of the three artists chosen for 2015. The sheets, which symbolically represents the place where the violence is consumed, have the support of Federica Rispoli’s work: “I‘m not in my shoes”; game two and metaphorical, that refers to the joy she feels the bride in the wedding day, but also, literally, the girl forced to wear clothes not suitable for their age. Always the Rispoli, the picture “Crime” exposed in space “Penance”. Are pictorial sheets of aluminum works by Daniela Pergreffi, which, all together, offering a dynamic sequence as that of a film, and individually, as in a still image, provide a summary of ongoing action. Acts of violence, accomplished and / or suffered. “Jnjures”, however, is the project of Nicca Iovinella, pierced heart into pieces, which gives the perception of a soul broken and reassembled. Of great emotional impact even the concept edited by photojournalist Stefano Renna, which brings true images of the news, which was made into a video, deliberately disturbing and provocative, with the alternation of photos, depicting the real “perpetrators” in the moment of ‘arrest. Among the guests expected, even Maurizio De Giovanni, who last year wrote for “Les Miserables”, the story “I have not done anything”, where the point of view is that of the murderer. The writer will be at the Pan on March 7 to 17, with a reading of the text.
