They are the most beautiful cities and cultural sites for excellence the locations chosen by the City of Nola (Naples), led by Mayor Geremia Biancardi for the 2015 edition of “SettembrArte“. The program of events organized to discover the artistic beauty of the area will start on Saturday 12 and will close on Sunday 27. Eight events for three weekends that accompany the visitor on a journey through theater, music, guided tours, tastings and pageants designed to please public tastes. The spotlight will turn Saturday to urban archaeological park via Merliano where the guided tour of 7.30 hours pm followed by the play in two acts “Amphitryon” – taken from Plautus – by the association “The proposal” Altavilla Silentina. Sunday 13 instead, the protagonist is the Roman era with the rediscovery of the amphitheater on Via Mario De Sena scheduled for 10.30 am. The music and dance medieval market, laboratories and fire games enliven the weekend of 19 and 20 September; theater of the two days will be the hill Cicala transformed for the occasion into a real ancient village with the participants of the historic parade of the Orsini and the company rose and the sword of Naples engaged in a performance themed pageants.
