With the ballet “Carmen” has closed the summer activities of the Grand Theatre of Pompeii which with two dates in September proposed a preview of what will be the “Pompeii festival“, by June 2015, pending a signed project by architect Paolo Portoghesi (as part of the agreement between the Superintendent and the Association of Development of the Sicilian Symphonic by maestro Alberto Veronesi), which will also include an amphitheater with a capacity of 20 thousand seats. The organization did not have a hitch for the performance of “Ballet of the South” which brought to an audience closer to the “sold out” show the run-Carmen (over 100 performances), two acts with choreography by Fredy Franzutti to music by Bizet, Chabrier, Massenet and Albeniz. Applause for Chiara Mazzola (Carmen), Francesco Cafforio (Jose), Alessandro De Ceglia (the bullfighter Escamillo), Vittoria Pellegrino (Micaela) and Angelo Egarese (Zuniga).
