It’s a real immersion in the past that which awaits Neapolitans and tourists this weekend. Saturday 3 and Sunday, October 4, in fact, the center of the city of Naples and the racecourse of Agnano will be imbued with an attractive and inspiring Renaissance atmosphere.
For the occasion, a lively parade banner of knights, ladies, flag-wavers, drummers and warriors to life Saturday, October 3rd starting from the Angevin at 15 and then continue along Via Toledo and Medina street and to return to the 17 again in the courtyard of the Castle of Municipio square. Here, Don Salvatore Fratellanza, delegate by Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, assisted by Father Luigi Castiello, bless the banners of historical seats of Naples, whose 7 representative riders, will compete in armor and “spear” the next day, Sunday, October 4 during the “Carousel of seats”, which will take place in the Hippodrome of Agnano, at 12, with free admission.
A unique spectacular event organized by Compagnia dell’Aquila Bianca with the sponsorship of the City of Naples and support the Councillor for Tourism and Culture.
The event will be enriched by the participation of the flag wavers and musicians of Marino Marzano of Sessa Aurunca, the group of historical dance “The Contrapasso” from Salerno, the Association “I Sedili di Napoli”, the Choral Jubilee of Naples directed by Filomena Scala and “Compagnia dei 3 Leoni”, always from Naples
