Shake It Up to “Penisola Sorrentina Jazz Festival”

From tango to tammurriata through pluck and swing. There will be much to dance to “Penisola Sorrentina Jazz Festival”, under the artistic direction of Antonino Esposito and Francesca Maresca, that 25 to 29 August, will take shape in Villa Fondi De Sangro in Piano di Sorrento.

On 27 August, it will be the turn of Patrios, set of seven items that “contaminates” the popular music with reggae, samba and blues, indicating paths new and open to everything except electronics. Starring, bagpipes, accordion, tambourine, guitar, bass and ciaramella: an original mix of percussion and voice that recreate, as well as new songs, also classics of popular music of the center-south.

On 28 August, the spotlight on Diego Moreno and his “Tango scugnizzo”, a journey round trip between Naples and Buenos Aires: a multimedia show that tells in a “lout” the close relationship between Italian culture, or better, Neapolitan and Argentine.

Saturday, August 29, to go on stage will instead Serena Della Monica and the Nymphs of Tammorra with Scaramantika Tour 2015.
