Still “Suggestions dusk” to Pausilypon

The next weekend, will again come alive with music and theater at sunset, to the impressive archaeological park of Pausilypon in Naples. Start, Saturday, May 30, at 18, with the show “From Busoni to the countries of Tango” with Eros Mele (clarinet) and Emanuela Chiodi (piano). A journey through music from the most fascinating areas of the world. On May 31, at the same time, will be the turn, however, the show “Fosco, history of a crazy” by and with Peppe Fonzo and music by Flavio Feleppa. A musical tale, a “cunto” the old fashioned way, a story in which theater and music in a mixture alternating sound, language, dialect and physical. On stage, an actor and a bass player to accompany the viewer on a journey ready to evoke a reality of the province that smells like ash, earth, salt and effort and that will give life to a grotesque that are allowed to stay only at the margins A man burning solitude, a being like everyone else that one day goes crazy and becomes the village idiot.

Both events fall in the seventh edition of “Pausilypon Suggestions dusk”, a festival of music and theater conceived and organized by the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies Gaiola Onlus agreement with the Archaeological Superintendence of Campania, under the artistic direction of Stefano Scognamiglio and Francesco Capriello.

The appointment is in downhill Coroglio 36 where, through the massive Seiano cave it will access to the theater. Here it will be offered refreshments and a wine tasting organized by the Ager Campanus. The entrance fee is 15 Euros and, as in previous years, the proceeds of the evening will go to fund projects of scientific research, rehabilitation, but also easy to maintain the area.
