And if instead of closing at the disco, maybe, surrounded by hordes of strangers, New Year’s Eve they decide to spend it in the theater for quite live? No sooner said than done. At Cilea in Naples, 2016 will open at 2 am with the expected concert “Le nostre… Emozioni”, which will star the Neapolitan singer Gigi Finizio.
For the occasion, the artist, who has decided to stay with the public the first hours of the new year, will propose the best songs of his repertoire. From “Come intendo io” to “Occasioni” through “Solo lei”, “Fammi riprovare” and “Maledetta voglia di te”. Just to name a few.
“I am more than happy – said Biagio Izzo, artistic director of the Teatro Cilea – to start the year with Gigi Finizio, my dear friend and great artist. The decision to say goodbye to the past year to accommodate the new to the tune of his most beautiful songs from the 80s to the contemporary is the wish to face 2016 with a little ‘more than lightness – which is not to say, however superficiality-, and love for what you did, with the presumption that our work of artists can give two hours well lived”.
And, for those who, for one reason or another unable to attend the debut, do not worry. Finizio replicate the show at Cilea until January 3.
The ticket price is 55 euro and the pit 45 gallery (New Year’s Eve 02.00) and 45 Euros the pit and gallery 35 (Friday and Saturday, and Sunday at 21, at 18).
