“We must always be drunk… Not to be the martyred slaves of Time, get drunk, get drunk without ceasing! Wine, poetry or virtue, as you please”. The thrill for many represents a life force, a state of euphoria, but also a source of artistic inspiration, and as Baudelaire says, keeps free. Not surprisingly, it has been chosen as the star of the 2015’s “Faito doc Festival”, which will take shape from 3 to 8 August, the Monte Faito and between the towns of Vico Equense and Castellammare di Stabia.
An International Festival and theme that, as every year, will bring together documentary films from around the world. Preview presentation, Thursday, July 9, at 20:30, at the Asylum Filangieri of Naples, during the cocktail in the garden. For the occasion, in addition to the program of the event we will also be shown some short films in past editions.
The festival, through its official jury, will award the film can exploit every expressive potential of film language to promote a cinema of reality that knows how to dream, to question certainties, otherwise instruct the world.
The festival, from the beginning has been imagined for an extraordinary location: Mount Faito, natural park on top of a mountain that embraces, with a 360 ° the Sorrento peninsula, the Gulf of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, the islands and the Amalfi Coast. A great place, which has clearly demonstrated over the years to have a natural vocation as “Belvedere European Mediterranean”, privileged scene of cultural exchanges, reflection and dialogue.
