Yallafest: multiculturalism protagonist in Piazza Dante

2810
Piazza Dante - Napoli

It will be the central Piazza Dante in Naples as a frame 25 to 27 September to “Yallafest”, a great event that will celebrate being together and the sense of community beyond the social, cultural and nationality. A kaleidoscopic space open to contamination: a crossroads of people, artists, music, dance, debates and games, but also a special way to “take back” the city.

A true celebration of the square embellished with different thematic areas. From those destined to the screenings of documentaries, feature films and photographs on the theme of multiculturalism and integration, to the book area, in collaboration with Feltrinelli, with a small library of interculturalism, through a space tasty food and wine, where the chef Marcella Tagliaferri in collaboration with the social enterprise “The Kumpania” will explore contamination between the traditional food made in Campania and those of Eastern European, Balkan and North African.

Plus an area for children, where you can explore traditional games from different regions, and another dedicated to exhibitions and installations, created in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.

Among the many artists expected to three days, too: Maurizio Capone, the Zezi, Massimo Andrei, the Orchestra Multicultural Mediterranean, the collective IRMAO, Mihretu Ghide & Panacea, The Gentlemen’s Agreement and I Delirio Creativo.
