Masters Monzù and Teatro San Carlo together for “Music on the Terrace” in Naples


Music and flavors, the winning combination. As part of the “Music on the Terrace” which will feature artists of the Teatro San Carlo in collaboration with the historic Union Club, in a survey of chamber music, in a festival of chamber music in the beautiful setting of the terrace of neapolitan Massimo overlooking the gardens of the Royal Palace, you can taste some dishes masterfully prepared by chef Mario Loina under the supervision of his teacher, and last Monzù, Gerardo Modugno, respectively vice rector and rector of the Academy that promotes the enhancement of the knowledge of aristocratic Neapolitan cuisine.

Ten concerts in the program, from 19 May to 30 June, at 19, for two outstanding venues: the Terrace Foyer of the Teatro Massimo and the Neapolitan. The musical program will involve small groups of teachers Orchestra and Chorus of the Opera artists, and is meant for families and tourist flows from all backgrounds and origins, accessible and popular, but always of great quality.

They will be 5 evenings that will involve the Masters Academy Monzù. Those on the terrace of the: 19, 26 and 29 May – 14:21 June. The participation of the Masters Monzù was made possible thanks to the fundamental contribution of the company “Salumi Sorrentino” from Pagani (Salerno) with its typical products from Campania ensure the right ingredients for the dishes that will be prepared; the availability of “C&D Ristorante tra mare e Vesuvio” from Portici which will host the Academy for the cooks preparing the dishes and collaboration of Mariatersa Lanza, nationally renowned sommelier, who carefully choose wines to accompany the tasting.
