The first day (26), will be reserved for the inaugural Gala, an event attended by about 300 guests including authorities, journalists, operators and restaurateurs, as well as representatives of the Consortium Iceland Icelandic Responsible Fisheries. Then, to follow, it will be open to the public in the evenings with food stalls where you can taste the salt cod dishes prepared by the best chefs of the restaurants sommesi. Visitors can also take a journey through the flavors and culture through the “reproduction” of places and moments typical of the culture Vesuvian area, ranging in the stands dedicated to local products.
Have been defined, meanwhile, also agreements with certain partners: Proloco Somma Vesuvius that will cure, in particular, the section devoted to the Augustan Villa and ilmediano.it that will support the organization of the event in relation to the aspects of the media. The event will be conducted in collaboration with a partner Icelandic, the Consortium Iceland Responsible Fisheries, which will take part in exposing a “Eldhus” typical Icelandic cottage, which will arrive in the town of Mount Somma, after stops in European cities such as Barcelona and related to the cod Lisbon.
