All in saddle with the Naples Bike Festival

For the third year in a row Naples becomes the oasis of bicycles. All set in the urban park of the Mostra d’Oltremare for the Naples Bike Festival, scheduled for September 12 to 14 in the green lung of Fuorigrotta. The festival sponsored by the Associazione Napoli Pedala, sponsored by the City of Naples and the Campania Region, is co-produced with the Mostra d’Oltremare and is part of the circuit VeloLove. A year ago, showed the presence of about 10,000 visitors, relying on the promotion of the “two wheels” to educate a mobility alternative.
This year’s theme is “Routes Paths.” The three-day event no space to stop on all routes: competitive sports (bike polo, urban challenge, race young), bike tour of the area Flegrei to Vesuvius, bicycle maintenance workshops, courses dismantling bikes, demonstration of bike jump, & trail pump track, science demonstrations and cycling. Debates, concerts and an area dedicated exclusively to children with “Stories from Two Wheels”, readings for children, courses for learning to ride a bike, theater pedal, the playroom and the itinerant bicaccia (treasure hunt bike).

The “three days” made in Naples will cut the ribbon with a loop-drive #pedaloper departing from the Historical Center (Piazza Bellini) on Friday at 18:00 and arriving in the gardens of the Overseas Exhibition. Here we continue with the music of Marcello Coleman, and then dj set at the end of the evening the spectacle of monumental fountain dell’Esedra with its beautiful fountains and lights. The day will conclude with a ride under the stars.
