City Piano: an invasion of notes in the streets of Naples

Never change a winning team.
And then after the great success of last year, returns to City Piano, the musical that has taken the magic of the seven notes on every street corner of the city of Naples.
But we see in detail the program of this year’s festival organized by the historic Alberto Napolitano Piano Company in collaboration with the Mostra d’Oltremare, the Department of Culture of the City of Naples and with the sponsorship of the FAI Campania.
Headquarters of the event, which will be held on 5, 6 and 7 December, the Conference Centre of Mostra d’Oltremare with a non-stop, from morning to night, concerts, meetings to plan, workshops, installations, Educational and Kids .
But remember that the art fair, the brainchild of Berlin pianist Andreas Kern, wants to be a time for discussion and sharing with the public free of any filter, then go-ahead to a resting notes throughout the city with concerts, events, events that will take place in the living rooms of the houses in Naples (House Concert), and even in places of public culture so fascinating museums, historical buildings, plazas, libraries and churches.

These include the Angevin Castle, Pan, the Museo Civico Gaetano Filangieri, the Hermann Nitsch Museum and even Science City, the magnificent Palazzo Serra di Cassano, accompanied by Grenoble, the Pio Monte della Misericordia and many others.
The spirit of the event is in fact to provide musical performances in places not usually deputies to them, interspersed with moments of leisure.
It ‘s the case of Battle Ground, concert-show designed by Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis, scheduled for Sunday, December 7th, where they performed two pianists at one piano and challenge shots each round, the public can express their liking and enact so the winner.
Ample space will also be reserved for Neapolitan composers, who have two times to express their creativity: improvisation marathon which takes place on Sunday morning at the Museum Pan and a solo piano concert devoted entirely to the Neapolitan song set for Saturday, December 6th at the convention center.
And yet it continues with the Plan Night Saturday, December 6th for an entire night at Nitsch Museum, where many composers and pianists will perform until the morning.
