Totino’s genius on display at Real Polverificio of Scafati

Doors open Friday, March 22, in the Chapel of Santa Barbara at Real Polverificio Bourbon of Scafati (SA), for the retrospective exhibition dedicated to the architect, painter, sculptor and poet Francesco Totino. The exhibition, curated by Angelo Casciello (who was a student of Totino), was organized by the city of Scafati, by Scafati Solidarity Institution and the Municipal Gallery of Contemporary Art in Real Polverificio Bourbon/Center for Culture and the Arts of Scafati, sponsored by the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage and Landscape of Salerno and Avellino. And ‘here, in fact, that Casciello drew a masterly exhibition devoted to his master, a long sixty years, which winds through eighty works including drawings, paintings, sculptures and architectural projects by the versatile artist of Gioiosa Jonica (Reggio Calabria).[charme-gallery]
