The essence of the district stripped by stereotypes and prejudices. A “report” caring, genuine and sincere, which aims to show, to those who still do not know the true face of one of the most fascinating and blood of Naples. This and much more is “Il Rione Sanità” exhibition signed by graduates of photography and photojournalism organized by the cultural Upnea, that from tomorrow on December 2 for a month will be hosted by Upnea Salumeria in Via San Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli 34/35 in Naples.

A different study of the history of the neighborhood born outside the walls as a burial place, but also in hospital for the sick for Salubritas air coming down from Capodimonte and which earned him the name “Sanità”. A place that over the centuries has been able to combine life and death, beauty and damnation, love and hate becoming a real soul of Naples. Together with teachers Sergio Siano and Roberto Stella and the president of the Luigi Crispino, the students have started a trip in a part of town that has so much to say, to show, to be made known. Massimo Caroelli photographing the pace of life and death, that probably more than anywhere else live together in perfect harmony; Emanuela Cervo try to capture the atmosphere pervading metaphysical and mysterious alleyways and houses, squares and buildings; Federica Lamagra follows “Paglialone” and Peppe in everyday life romantic and timeless; Sofia Quarantelli meets the violin melody of Samuel and Sanitansamble able to rise above the background noise; Annalisa Guida lingers between the stories of the market stalls of the Virgin unchanged for centuries and always friendly; Lorella Tripodi collects the desire for redemption of “Crystalline” and its young hearts and great; Ada Santasilia tells the “middle ground”, the place of mercy for the souls of the living suspended; Claudio De Falco, is accompanied by the words of Maurizio De Giovanni, and in his account of a day of the dead can be glimpsed in the misery the lights of hope, Fiammetta Tarallo investigate the integration of the Sri Lankan community and on the inclusion of the first and second generation; Irene Angelino, however, says the union between the road and people’s homes.
