Great chefs in Paestum for mozzarella dop


At the start the eighth edition of “The Streets of Mozzarella“, the only conference dedicated to the signature cuisine and a great product: the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP and to all the gastronomic world that revolves around. Today and tomorrow, the ancient city of Paestum, Unesco World Heritage, is home to a selection of the best Italian restaurants and of Ue: 32 chefs, a veritable “dream team” of gastronomy that will alternate in the halls and gardens of the Savoy Beach Hotel, moderated by some of the biggest names in the international food critics. They will, in fact, the pluristellati Pino Cuttaia, the restaurant La Madia Licata (Agrigento), and Massimo Bottura of Osteria Francescana in Modena, to open and close the festival. In the middle of a parade of talent, all committed in giving the audience the emotion of unique dishes, entirely dedicated to the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP. “An essential travel” is the theme of the congress of signature cuisine; digestibility, health, concentration of flavors, exploitation of raw materials, these are the focus around which the stars of haute cuisine will compete. To frame the Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, a careful selection of excellence: from champagne to Gragnano pasta, extra virgin olive oil with tomatoes, Rossi Tuscany to the finest flour. And, speaking of flour, it should be noted that special attention will be given to Neapolitan pizza, protagonist of the final evening.
