Pasta is a feast for the eyes even while it is being made. Nowhere is this truer than in Gragnano, the birthplace of paccheri and spaghetti and the home of La Fabbrica della Pasta, a traditional pasta factory owned by the children of Mario Moccia who founded the family business out of love for Gragnano’s famous food product. The factory was the first in the world to receive the IGP protected origin label for its unique varieties of excellent pasta made with spring water from the Imbuto stream and the highest quality semolina. The company’s speciality is its 22 different formats of high-quality, gluten-free pasta, approved by the Italian Ministry of Public Health and traditionally made in separate premises using different staff and machinery from those employed in classic pasta manufacture. Exquisite gluten-free pasta for a traditional flavour experience.
